Stocks are low.....World Cup Oat Stout

Post by EportJake » Tue May 04, 2010 8:51 pm

It's been a while what with having a babby, so I'm gonna try to build up my stocks for the summer. This one is gonna be for the world cup and I noticed a post from Mysterio suggesting a 20 min roasting of the oats which sounds right up my street. Anyway, what do you think of this?:

World Cup Oat Stout 25L

5kg MO
500g Roasted Oats
200g Chocolate Malt
200g Roasted Barley
100g Amber Malt

35g Admiral - 60 min boil

2L Brewlab Thames Valley 2

4.5% ABV, 39 IBU, 51.6 colour
BREWERY UNDER CONSTRUCTION

I brewed mine last Friday, a couple of hybrid English/American beers in honor of the game on 12 June.
