Elderflowers

I am going to attempt my first homebrew ever soon and make some Elderfower Champagne. I have read the thread on this and will now be ignoring HFW's recipe as he seems to be a bit of a twit with this one!

One question (first of many), when are elderflowers out? I am in the Midlands if this helps?

Hi, I'm in lancaster and mine aren't quite out yet. The buds are up though so shouldn't be too much longer, maybe another week or so. You're a bit further south than me so maybe a couple of days earlier.

Generally May and June, but all delayed this year.
