Hi All
going to brew something next week for Summer drinking and have come up with the following recipe based on a few of the summer ale recipes on here, I was going to follow one recipe using all styrians (Brotherton Lad's recipe I think?) but don't want to use up the whole 100g I have of them so thought would use challenger for the bittering instead as have lots of them, also reduced the grain bill to reduce the alcohol content, which will hopefully make it a good bbq beer. Do you think this will turn out fine or any suggestions on how to improve it?
Thanks
Michael

another summer ale
Re: another summer ale
probably SO4 but also have some Nottingham as well - only used SO4 or T58 (in a wheat beer which I am just about to bottle) so far in my brewing career.

I would Nottingham it myself as I love my Summer beers super dry...drmick wrote:probably SO4 but also have some Nottingham as well - only used SO4 or T58 (in a wheat beer which I am just about to bottle) so far in my brewing career.
