With the power off, hold the outlet pipe down into a jug to get some gravity flow then (carefully!) shove it where it needs to go. Then turn the power on.

Curses! I went online to buy one just now and the shop page doesn't load! You've all overloaded it buying them me thinks!

I have just emailed the site about the shop problem and this was the reply
Neil,
Thanks for the email.
I am having a problem with the server that the shop section of my site is housed on and have not been told how long it will stay unobtainable.
If you would like to tell me where you would like it delivered to I can send you a Paypal payment request and get the stuff off to you. Sorry for the inconvenience,

Peter

Anyone got a link for food grade reinforced tubing for these pumps please?

Just being lazy and want to purchase some trusted and used tubing :D

Not used them yet but will be buying from them when my pump arrives - unless anyone comes up with anything better...

Non-reinforced silicone works well for me, it's being discussed here: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=34102

The 1/4" fits straight on the 20/20 and at £2.00/m +vat it is not nearly as bad as the bigger stuff!
See it working in my links higher up.

Got mine the other day and picked up a power adapter from Maplin, regulated with up to 1.2A output. Less than elegant crimp on the connectors on the wires as I lost my crimper, pliers had to do. Tested in a pint of water and all looking good. Hopefully can get a brew on this weekend and make use of it!

Would an old Scalextric power unit which says it kicks out 13.5v be to strong.

My other options without purchasing something is either this or a car battery charger until I find something else of course laying about the garage
