GBBF is like marmite, etc etc etc.
I've nt missed one since 2000 and for the first time am going NOT on a Saturday. Yes, it means a days leave from work, yes its more expensive on the train but Saturdays at the GBBF are synomymous with crowds and poor beer choice.
This year I'm up on a Thursday with a few GBBF stalwarts. You?
1st GBBF thread; under a month to go!
Re: 1st GBBF thread; under a month to go!
Wednesday afternoon for me. I've been to every one for quite a while...except 2007 when I did my back in and couldn't stand up even before I'd started drinking.

I love Marmite, I tolerate Earls Court
I grin and bear the cost of getting there, didn't go last year due to that. Wednesday for me also.

Cant afford to take a full day off work this year, but I might pop by one evening this year although not sure I like it anymore these days.
Used to go religiously, year in year out when it was at Olympia, but saturdays are just not worth the effort - as above, crowded and the majority of the beer run dry.

I've not been since it moved to Earls Court. Wednesday night for me this year, then a day at home nursing a hang over on thursday.

OK, so it's probably pointless but is anyone interested in free tickets for the trade session tomorrow afternoon?
PM me if so.
