I've got lots of wheat! :-) so rather than all lager malt I went 50-50, should be good for head too.

Looking good Ade. Your being quite prolific of late!

I'm struggling to find time to brew and make brewery alterations simultaneously at the moment cos of work, so have decided to take a break and get brewery MKII up and running instead!

Bottled this tonight, tastes bloody good right out of the fermenter... fingers crossed this will surpass the excellence that was the first version and in 2 weeks it will be smooth drinking and I'll be wishing I made more than 5 gallon! :D

Great looking brew there!

Any tips for mash efficiency? e.g. liquor:grist ratio, batch sparge? I'm not doing to well with my numbers at the moment. :(

Hope it turns out well!

What do the NZ hops taste like? I don't think I've ever had them before.
Good looking brew!

Hey pdtnc,

congrats on your award for this brew! Gonna have a go at it myself, but i have no wheat so will use MO and a little cryistal (how the f do you spell that word...i tried 6 variations and still it dont look rite!) prob about 3% chrystal(arrgghh!!) maybe some Muncih too. Whadaya think?

Got no Pacifc Gem but have some high alpha Simco, what ibu did you get from your bittering hops?(90min hopS)

Will prob use a pck of SO5.

Ta for any tips!

Steve
