I have been getting a few brews on now the weather has cooled down a bit and am tying myself in knots with my CRS calculations!
I have been using the Salifert kit to test my water and am happy I am doing it right as far as the kit goes, but not sure the calculations I am doing from then on is correct.
I get a total of 0.82 mls remaining in the syringe after having made the reagent change colour. According to their table, that gives me 1.03meq/litre of alkalinity (x50 to get as CaCO3) gives me 51.5mmol/l alkalinity as CaCO3. If I want around 50mmol/l that implies I don't need to add any CRS - is this right?

Your figures are correct by my understanding.
If I was making a very pale beer, I would reduce the alkalinity a tad to 30ppm.
1ml of CRS removes 183ml CaCo3, so add 51.5/183 = 0.28ml per litre CRS for the palest beers.
