Adding CRS to hot water

(That's water to the rest of us!) Beer is about 95% water, so if you want to discuss water treatment, filtering etc this is the place to do it!

Adding CRS to hot water

Can CRS be added to hot water or should it be only added to cold pre-boiled water?

The reason I ask is that my HLT isn't large enough to accomodate larger brewlengths without topping up to sparge.

good stuff, I wasn't sure whether the acids needed cold water for them to do their stuff so to speak.

Warm water will only speed up the process :)
