think i might be tempted to mash at 64 ish mate. I think it may give a more stable ferment and you may get a lower Fg.
Don't go too low though... 64-65 should be cool.

Cheers mate. i went high (70) to up the odds on a good head retention. All my beers are mashed/rested at the higher end of the scale.

Thanks Guy,
It was a fun brewday and i am very happy with the colour of the beer. The smell off the copper was astounding! Sadly i have now ran out of bottles so my brewing will be curtailed for a while :(

Just returned from a break in Turkey. beer finished at 1.013 @ 6.4% Strangely the beer smells sweet. In saying that i have been drinking Efes lager for 12 days so my cask ale perception will be well skewed!

That's it bottled. Didn't count the bottles. Too many but well over a hundred of various size and shapes. I am very happy with the label for this beer.
