I emailed the brewery asking about this ages ago, but got no reply...
maybe some narrow-minded nonsense about home brewers to blame. Bad marketing I'd say ;)

Ask to talk to their spooksman.

I wouldn't mind finding that recipe myself, I had a couple of pints of that in a JDW pub a while ago & I really enjoyed them.

I fancy getting one on for Christmas and I didn't want to go for OP, Riggwelter or even Sneck Lifter.

I've found out thte malts are pale, chocolate, and crystal. Hops are challenger, fuggles and bramling cross.

Is anyones palate able to decipher a recipe from this? I cannot find any EBU or IBU figures though!

I've emailed a friend of mine who has connections with the brewery to see if they can do some digging.

Hi Folks,

I know im a bit late in getting involved in this conversation, but ive only been brewing for a year (mainly kits but have just started extract brewing) and have just registered on this website (after reading this topic). Im a big fan of the ghost ale, its my favourite and I am really keen to brew something similar.

I am aiming to start experimenting on this by extract brewing and have bought the hops and grain as mentioned above, but can anyone more experienced give me a guestimate or range I should be looking for on the EBU and potential OG I should be looking for? I dont need an exact figure, just a rough guess so that I can start experimenting. I aim to use 1.5KG LME (Dark) and 1KG of DME (Dark). Let me know if you can help.

Cheers!

Me thinks its a slighty weaker of exmoor beast which appears in GW'S brew your own book.
