barley wine

I'm thinking about doing a double batch of barley wine.
And I'm looking for the best kit to do two lots at once (I have a party comming up).

Any recomendations should I even do this and is it possible?
I've got a 6 1/2 gallon fermenter with a air lock to do it in.
Thanks

How soon is the party?I think that barley wines take a long time to mature?Never tried one but from what i gather its longer than a "normal"gravity beer!

I leave my beers to mature for at least 3 weeks anyway will that sort of time do?
I keep my brews outside in my bricked outhouse its about 4 degrees warmer than the outside temp at any particular time 8)

A year or two for a barleywine, i'm afraid. After that it will get better and better.

Thanks for the advice I think i'll stick to the beer I have all ready made.It would have matured for 5 weeks by the time of the party. :)

I'm strongly considering getting a couple of headcracker kits and sticking both in and making some barley wine for the summer. By say August/Sep it should be fairly decent.
