Hi all i was supping this last night in my local a very nice pint indeed and a quick look on the brewery web site "Premium bitter with fruit notes and a hint of coffee" as it was a pale straw coloured ale i was wondering about the recipe especially the hint of coffee bit can anyone assist ?

I would think they could be using Caramalt. That give some nice flavours without adding to the colour too much. Or a bit of Amber malt that can give a slight coffee flavour.
