I think Brewers Gold is fairly straight forward, It is definitely a single Hop Addition of Brewers Gold, and I believe Lager Malt, they have plenty of it in the Brewery.

I've seen this recipe before as I have written it down, but can't remember where, however I have never brewed it, it's on the to do list.

25L Brew Length

OG 1040
IBU 35

4.4 Kg Lager Malt

110g Brewers Gold 15 mins from End

WLP022 is the old Ridleys yeast which Crouch Vale now use.

Hi Chaps , you are correct about the lager malt and single hop addition here is the correct recipe scaled down for my brew length . It is my usual house brew as it is simple and fantastic but watch your family and friends because mine get through it quicker than i can brew it !!

30ltr brew
EBU 15
ABV 4.0%

lager malt 5.7kg

Brewers gold 18g for the whole 60min boil
Protofloc heaped teaspoon at 15 mins to end of boil
Brewers gold 150g at flame out

Recirc well if you have pump facility whilst cooling to get max hop flavours out
Ferment cool with wlp022

ENJOY !!!
