Just had a wee taste of my TC, one of the bottles blew it's cork out!! So I tried that bottle 1st. It has a nose to it, but I wish it didn't. It is still quite smelly, not really like cider & the taste is not really much better  !
I'll try the other bottles (still with corks) at the weekend, don't know if they'll taste much better.

my first attempt at turbo cider is at the magical stage around 1.020-1.030 where when you feed it sugar it burns it up in seconds. Put in plenty of sugar today - spoonful at a time and looking very promising. Cant wait to try it. Gruesome looking colour though

Well the TC turned out to be excellent, when poured it resembles a champagne with thousadands of very small bubbles, which lasts until the last drop of the bottle!
I was very impressed with this drink, as were my friends - which was surprising for me as I had feared the worst!
The pomegranate version was not so popular, it turned out to be more of a matteus rose type wine, due to the 37 percent juice content it was very light in body, however it was still quite pleasant.
All in all I think it was a success & both drinls would go down well at a BBQ party, as they are very cheap to make, very drinkable & refreshing.
I see what you guy's mean when talking of the effects of the strength, quite drunk after a couple of bottles.

I added in 150grams of brewing sugar to the first 3 litres of juice which made a starting OG of 1056,how do i know when it is finished fermenting, is it the same as wine in one bubble or less per minute and how strong would it be hope knot to strong as i hate :bonk the next day.

jUST TOOK A READING OF MY TURBO CIDER AND HAS GONE FROM 1056 TO 1000 WOULD YOU SAY THAT THIS HAS FINISHED FERMENTING,IF SO SHOULD I TRANSFER TO ANOTHER DEMIJON WITH AIR LOCK JUST IN CASE IT HASNT FINISHED AND WAIT FOR IT TO CLEAR AND THEN BOTTLE,TOOK A LITTLE SAMPLE AND IT IS VERY NICE CONSIDERING THE STAGE ITS AT NOT TO DRY .

Are you sure the reading is 1000? This would mean that all the sugar had turned to alcohol - I'm not sure where this is even possible?

I added 150 grams of sugar to the juice aswell ,start was 1056 and now its 1000 just cheked again,in it supossed to do that then.

DRB, I'm not the most experienced brewer, nor have I made turbo cider, so it's probably best to wait until someone with a bit more knowledge can advise you.

I suspect, however, that if you are reading 1000 then the hydrometer must be a bit off. You can check this by putting the hyrometer in water (which should be 18 - 22 C). The reading should be 1000 in plain water, because there are no sugars disolved in it to raise the gravity (or weight).

Took a reading with plain water dead on 1000.

Bear in mind that FG = 1000 does not mean all sugar went to alcohol, it just means you have a gravity equal to water.

Ethanol has a density less than water; as alcohol is made and sugar is consumed, it lowers the gravity, but 1000 is not an arbitrary terminal gravity.

I haven't made cider to know what a typical FG is, but if you're using turbo yeast it seems plausible that you would get high attenuation and I would imagine 1000 is possible.

Well you learn something new everyday - thanks for sorting that out Sagwalla :) I have no idea what turbo yeast is even :bonk

Apologies if I worried you DRB - at least you know your hydrometer is spot on (he says trying to style out his error :D )
