It's a sort of special dry-hopped American IPA.
I think I heard a recipe for it on the Brewing Network's Sunday Session at some point, sounded right up your street!

Oh look, and I have all the hops!!!
I do enjoy fair range of styles, but the hoppy balanced bitter ones are nice

How long do you intend to leave the bulk of the bottles before drinking?
I think i did a similar Torpedo clone on the same day! I have it bottled in the garage for now, as yet untried*, i was planning to wait until christmas to have it at its best. Any point waiting?
* i did try some as i was bottling, seemed quite sweet, but then i had a bottle of SN Torpedo at the wknd and my first uncontrollable thought was "i know this sweet taste, it tastes like my homebrew!" .....really hoping i might have created something special for AG#1!!

It's a really good beer too - some turned up in my local Tesco a few years back. Really nice beer.bosium wrote:http://www.sierranevada.com/beers/celebrationale.html

Well, after a chance meeting with pdtnc at the Saltaire Brewery today, he was kind enough to send me off with a bottle of this. I'm seriously looking forward to trying it over the weekend. thanks again mate, it was very kind of you. By the way, you don't look a bit like the photo of you in your avatar

Hope you like the beer, let me know what you think... the Banana needs some chin fur
Though the face fuzz is only until I get bored of it.
