Exmoor Exmas

Post by pas8280 » Sat Dec 11, 2010 1:53 pm

Had a night out in Manchester last night and sampled many christmas brews at various establishments, head and shoulders above all the rest stood Exmoor's Exmas having looked at the web site this is what it says
"Exmas, 5.0% available Nov-Dec
Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without this ruby-coloured, rich tasting and full-bodied seasonal ale which first saw the light of day in 1993. The hops are Goldings, Challenger and Styrian Goldings. The nose has flowery and citrus hop notes, counter-balanced by the richness of malt. The palate is smooth with hints of biscuity malt and milk chocolate, before citrus fruit makes an appearance. The finish is equally smooth with spicy and fruit hop notes lingering. A tasty toast to go with the turkey and trimmings"
So just wondering if anyone has a recipe to suit and i will have a go tomorrow
cheers Paul
