I was watching Master Brewers tonight and I couldnt help myself!... I cracked open a bottle! its only been in there for 3 days but it hissed when I opened it!... so did the next one.... and the one after that! :? I've got some hoppy shiznit conditioning in the garage but its months off being ready.... I may try a bottle just to stop myself drinking any more of this!..

Hey Dave. Looks good man. Are you using a mango chutney drum as a mash tun?

Cool. What do you use as a false bottom?

no, Ive got some copper pipe bent to shape. I did a thread on my mash tun build......

Here it is!

Seems I forgot to take pics of my grain filter, but its 15mm copper tubing bent round with lots of holes drilled in the underside.

m feeling really disapointed today... Popped one open last night and its no more carbonated that it was on friday when I tried one. A quick temperature check shows that the kitchen is down to a steady 10ºc..... Moved them all to the bathroom where it's warmer but this means theres no way I'll be able to take some to the in-laws for christmas drinky poos. :(

A few days in the bathroom over Christmas seems to have done this brew some real good! Its as good (if not better) than any bottle conditioned stout Ive tried!
