They were launched last summer for the world cup, but there was 1 or 2 reported instances where the pressure relief valve failed causing the tap to self destruct, spraying beer everywhere.
They are going to be launched again this spring or so i'm led to believe.
I'll wait for my mate to collect some more empties rather than spend my money, but I can assure you that they do work well.
Great for lagers or if you want a sweet turbo cider, ferment to dry, add campden tablet and potasium sorbate to your gallon of TC and put it in the bottle, top up with apple juice, and charge with a co2 cart.

I think the perspective of that photo throws it a little (tilt n shift like)

I cant wait to get my hands on a few more myself, I reckon I can fit 4 of them in the top of my brew cupboard (double kitchen unit) and have a variety of draught beers/ciders hidden away.

Has anyone got any pics of how to make the shop bought version re-usable. Am thinking a few of these could be good for taking to parties, rather than lugging my cornies and gas around.
Re: ibrew - new home brewing system from Muntons...
I'll take some pic's and do a guide on how to re-use them at some point.
Hardest part is unscrewing the co2 bulb housing ( I used a pipe wrench in the end) as it is on a ratchet and you have to unscrew it hard enough to break the ratchet tabs.
Also, I find the co2 bulbs a little tight inside the housing, so a bit of a rub down on the inside of the housing with some emmery cloth will loosen them up enough.
The only other thing you need to do is to remove the tabs on the neck of the tap system where it screws on to the bottle to stop them locking in place.
Other advice would be: When you charge the co2 bulb, stop screwing as soon as the bulb is pierced.
The co2 freezes the plastic and makes it brittle and the bulbs are a mm or 2 too long, if you continue to screw them up you break the bulb holder (I done this myself - this tap is now only used if I prime a beer/cider)

a few pictures and instructions on how to re use for your own brew would be excellent Geezah.
i see on carlingsite they are already running the ads for the system so will keep my eyes peeled at the supermarket.

Re: ibrew - new home brewing system from Muntons...
Hi guys I just bought one of the lager ibrew kits, been told its better to leave the primary fermenting a bit longer than 7 days? My first batch hasn't gone too well, it tastes of rats wee wee! Or non alcoholic beer...
Is it because it needs a few days? And also is it worth putting some sugar in the pet kegs?
