I am planning my second AG brew and fancy a session IPA with plenty of hops. The Yorkshire Terrier kit has been a favorite of mine, so I have checked the York brewery web site and found it is made from Pale and Crystal malt with Challenger hops. I am not trying to clone Yorkshire Terrier, just use it as a starting point for an IPA. I am a newbie to AG, so would welcome any comments.

Crystal Malt = 300 g
Challenger @ 90 mins = 25 g

Challenger @ 0 mins = 20 g

Re: Single Hop Challenger IPA
That will be a very nice drink I reckon.
I'm a big fan of the Terrier myself.

Looks like a Coniston Bluebird, should taste like one too.

Coniston Bluebird... I've not had that in a long while.
I was in the pub last night drinking Gales Hooker (seasonal brew from Fullers brewery). Also a great pint, the sort of thing I am after.
I am kegging my first AG (Black Sheep Best Bitter Clone) today, so all kegs are full again. I need to make room for this brew before I start. So, serious drinking is now required

Re: Single Hop Challenger IPA
I made this with hop back yeast.Turned out great. So much so,theres none left so must crack on and make some more.
Hop back yeast has been great and brings a real oaky winey taste to this beer.
Regards Dean.
