Gentle ipa help

Evening Brewers!

Im wanting to brew a session ipa, hitting about 3.5-3.9%

The nelson sauvin hops are here because i have them in the freezer, but im not against swapping them, i also have bx and first gold frozen, so can combine or swap as necessary.

The only thing i dont want is a brew dog harshness on the bittering. Id like bitter but not dring or puckering.

Im thinking the following grain:

3500g pale
400g wheat malt
200g pale crystal

With hops:

@t-90
35g ekg
35g fuggles

@t-30
30g nelson sauvin

@t-10
30g nelson sauvin

@t-0
30g nelson sauvin

Thanks all in advance for your help

Shift the 30 & 10 minute hops to 2 and 0 minutes. Adjust your 90 minute hops to reflect the bitterness you want depending on the volume you are brewing. Run the liquor onto the hops from the MT and bring them up to the boil slowly instead of throwing the hops into the boiling wort. That's a start, good luck with the brew.

Looks okay, but I don't think you have an IPA, it looks like a good solid bitter to me.
I've never used the nelson hops,but if you like them by all means use them.
I'm just here for the beer.

Cheers Rookie

Is it not hoppy enough for an IPA, or not enough alcohol?

When I brew IPA I shoot for 6-7%.
