It came right to the top so i gave it a gentle shake and it went back down, a few hours later i had to do the same again. It seems to have settled about 20mm high now. I think yet another panick is over, it's on the table now where i can watch it

I must say i'm very surprised at how cloudy it is and i'm thinking it will never clear

I think a 1 gallon turbo cider will be my next brew. Was thinking of adding some dried cinnamon sticks, but not sure how much to add. Anyone think of a ball park figure?

I might add them in a hop bag and keep tasting until I get around the taste I would like, but this will not be too easy with it being fermented in a demijohn.

My TC never cleared (well not before it was drunk  ) but I put that down to the fact that I used bread yeast. It tasted fine though.

Started mine today. 4litres of Tesco Pure Apple Juice and 1litre Tesco Blueberry Juice. Its a deep red and has started bubbling through the airlock just 1hr after adding yeast. OG 1044 with no sugar added. (the blueberry was 28% sugar as it was)

i used bread yeasy also, not to bothered if it doesn't clear but i'd prefer if it looked a little like cider anyway once it tastes ok who cares

I found this thread very helpful in making my TC, so as I've just put on batch #6 I thought I'd give this a bump.

Can anyone report back on how the 4L apple juice + 1L cranberry/blueberry juice turned out?

Tried some of my TC yesterday, had a week in bottle and completely clear (used Young's cider yeast), it was f**king amazing how good it tasted, I didn't think that it could be that easy to make a very good cider. The one made with the finest AJ tasted much better than the basic AJ though. ll be paying the few extra pence for that every time now!

Yesterday I tried some TC I made about 2 months ago using just Lidl apple juice and White Labs cider yeast. It is absolutely crystal clear and tastes great. It has been in the barrel maturing and has been improving all the time. I have been having crafty tastes until now but I think I have waited long enough, I will be drinking pints from now on. :D
