Just got back from 2 weeks in the US on business and managed to try lots of different beers, SNPA on draught is just nectar
I found it quite a bit different from the bottled stuff, a lot smoother and the flavour felt a lot more integrated and not as pronounced.
I think if i was going to do another batch i would try to emulate the draught version rather than the bottled.
Also tried dogfish head 60 and 90 minute IPA on draught and both were delicious!.
Also tried a few other AIPA's and the only bad drink i had all the time i was there was a bottle of Bud someone bought me, i thought the UK version was a tasteless bottle of crap. Well after tasting the 'Orginal' version i makes the UK version look like the finest tasting craft brewed lager in existance, it was like drinking fizzy water, utter utter crap! i really dont know how anyone could enjoy drinking it.

Its truly incredible that the sales of Bud are so high, I suppose that the era of Prohibition and the subsequent aftermath of the brewery closings helped them to gain their market share and they don't seem to have lost any ground since.Tron wrote:a bottle of Bud someone bought me, i thought the UK version was a tasteless bottle of crap.
