Hi Graeme
Sounds like I was lucky with bottle of Bengal Lancer I used.

Once you get this yeast going though its a real worker.
On current brew (80/-) I kept starting temp down a little to 19C to hold it back. Only a little escaped the FV via the trap.
12 Brix Saturday, 6.5 Brix Tuesday & Wednesday, so hopefully its cleaning up at the moment.
I calculate about 1048 ->1013

It doesn't attenuate as fully as many yeasts but thats just its character.
Its not a problem as it gives that slight sweetness you get with Fuller's ales
Cracking yeast.

That brew sounds great John.

I'll try and locate the info regarding Fullers bottle conditioning yeast as their website says that all their beers are 'filtered to remove any excess yeast' so it would be possible to use a different strain more suitable for bottle conditioning if required - http://www.fullers-ales.com/brewing_process.php

I'm pretty sure i've seen in discussed on here before that all beers actually used the same brewery yeast strain for conditioning.
I am not a Beer expert.....thats exactly the point.
