Five Star 5.2 pH Stabilizer

(That's water to the rest of us!) Beer is about 95% water, so if you want to discuss water treatment, filtering etc this is the place to do it!

Five Star 5.2 pH Stabilizer

Howdy All,

Does any body use this, and does it make a difference without any analysis done.

I've got a report due from murphys any time now - but am just placing an order for star-san and was wondering whilst ive got shipping to throw in the 52-stabilizer for a tenner.

thoughts?

Cheers
Alex

Save the 10 quid ;)

Take a look through this sub forum for a couple of posts by Wallybrew regarding pH5.2 It really is not as good as a lot of the fanbois (on other forums) make out ;)

You're better off with CRS and a water analysis. I used 5.2 for a while but I get much better results with acid and salts.
