Maybe try brewing something u brewed recently?? In that way u are able to quantify ther difference it makes ur prOcess ie efficiency.

going to make the guiness clone tonight but i only have 1kg flaked barley and not the 1630 the recipe asks for would you carryb on or wait till you have some? will it make much difference?
