Capper20, it improves. Now 5-ish weeks in the bottle, it has really grown on me. I certainly enjoy one, maybe two, but I am not thinking I can drink this all night. Still standby a slight reduction in the lavender amounts.

Just opened one of these three weeks after bottling. Nice fizz. Bit cloudy but it was cold from shed. Aroma of slight lavender which reminded me of honey. Tastes refreshing with the lavender not as strong as I thought. After a few seconds there's a numbing tingle on tongue. Overall I like it but it is not a taste I have had before from a beer. Need a second opinion. I will do again with less lavender and of course sample again in a few weeks as the beer is nearly 6% so will benefit from more rest.

Crystal clear now. Smells of lavender still and the taste is pretty good. I agree that this is a couple of bottles job at the max. Glad I made it now. At CHristmas I'll be breaking this out for sure.
