The idea for this started around august, when one of our members on Beoir, who is from Poland found out that some Polish homebrewers had bought some of these cornelius kegs and found them to be ok. Like whats happening here a good deal was quickly spotted and it took off like wildfire. What we found was to delegate and so our polish member dealt with the german company and with the help of eoinmag,(also a member here and speaks fluent German),they were able to confirm the type of corney wanted (They have many types of corneys). Another member, who is Welsh, has a family member who runs a transport company and he helped with that. 2 other members set up a new club A/C with internet option and these 2 jointly can only release funds.Once the order was capped at 320 we gave everybody a 10 day window to pay in the funds. The invoice and collection address was sent back to us,eoinmag checked it and cleared it and the 2 A/C members paid over the amount to the German company. 8 Pallet of 40 each arrived approx 10 days after payment. The list of people buying also listed location and a wonderful side effect was people meeting up and organizing pickups and able to put faces to avators.

What's the time scale on this? If I can pay after 20th Jan when I'm financially solvent again I'd be in for 3 - Edinburgh. - EH6

Many thanks for that useful insite into the irish cornelius job, could you possible find out more about the financial side of things? What specific type of account was set up and how easily is this done?

Would anybody on Jims be prepared to be one of the account holders?
