Post by pas8280 » Fri Jan 06, 2012 7:50 pm

Having been very impressed with the Australian Galaxy Hop in a SMASH i have just ordered 1Kilo each of Stella and Summer hops (split between me and Barney)
I probably will do SMASH's with these but just wondered if anyone has used them ? if so any recipe idea's would be appreciated

Drinking the Stella Rye now.Really impressed with this beer.Lovely, fresh aroma reminds of noble hops.(Saaz?) Definitely not those big American hop flavours instead there is ripe peach, melon and a slightly floral note with a hint of spice.(Maybe the rye).

The Summer has just been bottled but sample jar tasted good.
Gentle fruity hop aromas passionfruit, citrus and melon.Malty background.

And I still have 100g's of NZ Hallertau,NZ Super Alpha and NZ Cascade to use.
