Sterilisation

Post by fxrs » Fri Jan 27, 2012 4:52 pm

I have sterilised my bottle tree and the bottles which are now on the tree to dry after a good rinsing. I intend leaving the bottles overnight and begin the bottling tomorrow. Is it ok to leave the bottles over night without the need to sterilise them again before use?

TIA :)

I wouldn't, you really need to use them within 1/2 hour of sterilising.

I always clean my bottles the night before and leave them on the drainer overnight after they have been rinsed with Starsan.

Perhaps I shouldn't have been doing that [-o<

They don't need to be dry.
