Brewing recipe book

Post by shropshirelad » Fri Apr 06, 2007 10:02 am

I am selling a Camra real ale / brew your own recipe book on Ebay if anyone is interested "Brew your own real ale at home". I gather it is a bit of a bible and is now out of print. Authors are Wheeler and Protz...condition is as new!

Good Luck with your ebay sale, unless I'm the winner! There is obviously a lot of demand for this, and the other Wheeler books. I've been trying to win one for less than a tenner incl postage - no luck so far. Increased supply is needed - come on you forum experts, you could buy a lot of pale malt by selling your books!

Particularly as people who know Wheeler and or Protz, if not the authors themselves, quite possibly visit this forum from time to time. That would be a copyright faux pas!

Generally I've noticed the price of Wheeler's out of print books vary depending on whether they are listed under 'food and wine making' (price=higher) or just in the general books section. Check amazon as well; sometimes they have secondhand copies quite cheaply. I can't remember which of the two places I got my sought after Homebrewing: the Camra guide, but I didn't pay more than a fiver for it
