Inncidentally, if anyone's in Kettering way, stop at Sawyers and try a pint of Crazy Daze from Potbelly Brewery. It's absolutely FANTASTIC.

Looks like a bog standard element to me - just plug a kettle element into the three pins... Do the red wires run to a light ?

Yeah the wires run to a light (recently ripped them out). The problem is, the 3 pins are too short for a plug to be connected.

Do you have a soldering iron? - If so, you could simply remove the IEC (kettle) socket from the end of the cable and solder the wires directly on to the element - the pins should definitely not get hot enough to melt the solder.

Just took a sneaky pint. Looks exactly as it does on the picture on page one, and tastes wonderful! Smooth as you like, nice and malty with a persistent head, and pleasant bitterness.

I'd take a picture, but i may have inadvertently drank the product.

Complete accident, mind..
