Hi all,

Ive got so many recipes in my head to do, I think i wont live long enough to do em all, I get one organised then think of another six I want to do. Anyway, after listening to many people praising Nelson Sauvin, I bought some, now want a decent recipe to use it in, what do you reckon?
no palate, no patience.

Cheers Tom

Hi yes but i'm more confused than ever now, should I just make up a recipe and post to see the reaction? Can this hop be used for bittering as well as late, dry? or do I need something else?

You can use it for everything, as you can with most hops should you want to.
This is what I'm drinking right now http://pdtnc.wordpress.com/2011/12/18/ag70-ta-moko/ and its lovely. If I were to brew it again I'd add maybe 5% Oat malt for just a touch more body, there is no reason why you couldn't do it as a NS single hop.

Indeed, they usually have an alpha of about 12%. It doesn't do any harm to post a recipe for people to have a look at, someone might see a problem that us mere mortals would not.......

Nelsons are one of my fav hop, works well even as a dry hop.. But do note that the flavor does change alot in a beer with age.

A totally killer hop! I have a NS - Green Bullet combo in bottles, first is to be cracked tonight. I am so damn excited, I am not going for a pint at lunch just to keep the head and palate clear!
