Finally got round to ordering myself a Top Tap King Keg.
It was such a tough decision between that and a Cornie. In the end I decided that since I will be naturally carbonating, I couldn't justify the price.
Bought it from Leyland Home Brew and topped the order off with a new probe thermometer and some Carapils grain (just to bring the price above £60 for the free P&P)
Looking forward to racking off my beer (been in primary nearly 3 weeks!) so I can start on my next brew!!

It seems that in our absence a considerable amount of retail gear therapy has been occurring.

A sound investment PoP
One of the things I most appreciate about KK's is the ability to get your hand in the barrel when cleaning them - a dull but true fact!

I can *just* do this with cornie's also and reach the bottom....

That was main my concern about the Budget Barrel. I never could quite get a perfect clean. Even with my 'carboy' brush, it still doesn't reach everywhere.
At least with the KK I'll be able to give it a top not clean

And Leyland Hombrew is a jolly spiffing shop. I'm lucky enough to live close enough to them get all my stuff without Postie's help.
