Well I'm in and looking forward to the event. I brewed mine back in November but I think it still needs another 6 months to mature properly!

What time do the competition bottles have to be in on the day?

The doors will be open about 11am, usual meet up about 12 for 1pm start... We'll be setting things up and doing a bit of work from 11, pulling beers thru etc so you'll just have to take a set and chill for a while if we're not ready.

Well, 4 pints of undercarbed green tasting ale will be following me along, assuming everything goes to plan I'll see you there about 12ish :)

Can we have clarification on bottles? I have realised that all my Magners style bottles have been drunk. #-o

Will any style 500ml bottles do?

 damn and damn... due to work commitments im gonna miss this.. :x had a lot of unforced days off this year already, so need to work while weather OK. I am very dischuffed, and annoyed, cos we lost some time on this job, early in week due to main contractor malink cock-ups in (not)orderering stuff too well!!!

Oh well... will try an get later on in afternoon, if only to show face, an say hello.

Either way... HAVE A GREAT DAY FOLKS, as if i need to tell ya

any brown 500ml or pint bottles will do, as long as they have no identifying labels on them, you will not be marked down, on the bottle, its whats in them that counts.

Dunces Corner, we have a particularly moldy wet corner in the cellar, or you can sit in the Mash tun with the lid shut ;)

Bag is packed... 6am train, so should make it in time for registration  Unfortunately I'm having to return south tomorrow night so will probably have to miss out on the curry and shenanigans... Gutted :( Oh well, 5 hours ought to be enough time to imbibe a suitable amount of IPA. Looking forward to meeting you all :)

Dedication at its best, you should have a fellow traveler on your route to London.
See you tomorrow,
