Fantastic day out, and fantastic beers. I'm sure the Black IPA was so hoppy it had a green head!
Good to see all levels of brewers welcomed. My kit brewing friend had such a good time that he's done his last kit today....
Cheers to Shane, Ade and all the people behind the scenes who put this together.

Wow I still can't believe I won!
Congratulations to all of the other prize winners! That was a tough competition!
Thanks to Shane and Adrian and to all involved in organizing the event and Saltaire Brewery for staging the competition, what a great venue it was too! The competition beers were all to a very high standard, judging all those IPAs must have very hard! The beers on the bar were all excellent, I think I donated a fair bit to charity!
What a fantastic day!

Well done ND.
Got to ensure I earmark this date well ahead next time, sounds like you all had a great time.
While you were all drinking IPA I was sat in East Berlin drinking Hefe, Dunkel and weissbier

Well he poured some of the ones he considered failed and weren't going to improve. The others won't last him long!alix101 wrote:Whats he going to do with all of his kit stashsimple one wrote:Fantastic day out, and fantastic beers. I'm sure the Black IPA was so hoppy it had a green head!

Had a great afternoon, great to meet some forum members and I was hugely impressed with all brews that I tried (which was almost all of 'em in the end)
You've set the bar pretty high Mr Ade

A big thank you to everyone who congratulated me on the day and apologies to any prize winners I may have missed in congratulating as I was still in shock at the result!
It was a fantastic day and I hope there is a re-run next year as it'll be a day not to be missed!

Hi!
What a great day! Well I made a weekend of it... Checked out the Junction and a few other places recommended by the 'locals'... lol
The only JBK'er I dont think I met was 'shrunkenreaper' who also made the trip over from the NW...
Maybe we should get a bunch of 'name labels' for next time? I think someone suggested it?
If the event is run again next year I'm there!

Many thanks to everyone who had a hand in organising the event-superb day!
Cheers!
Guy

shane is collating all the recipes to be put into a booklet. They will be distributed to the membership (NCB) so they will probably end up on here!
