Half a kit?

Post by mst3k » Tue Apr 17, 2007 10:26 pm

I prob know the answer to this (yes, but),

Iam thinking of brewing the Brupak fixby gold but, can I just brew 1 can of extract at a time?

I guess it would only make 20 pints then I can brew the other can another day?

Any reason why I have to brew both cans together?

Would I have to add extra sugers, hops or sparymalts?

reason: I would like to experiment a bit with hops and dry hopping + I only have a limited amout of glass ST bottles (20 are easyer to rotate than 40!).

Thanks :D

I am pretty sure using 1 can to brew 20 pints is fine. No doubt if I am wrong somebody will put me right.

Cheers James and Daab,

I thought I could split it down, gr8 thinking on splitting the hops up, I didn't think of that. I guessing I should use yeast Safale 04 for the 2nd batch.

Thanks
