Headline is steeping over 50c is a waste of hops as the aroma oils are effectively "boiled" off. Dry hop late in the fermentation and two days is enough :?: I wouldn't give up on late additions but see them as giving some bittering but as importantly flavour.

Interesting, I was going to dry hop this one for 7days after the first week.

Thought I should report back on this last brew before it's all gone. Hands down my best brew to date, lovely aroma, hits you as you pour from pb. Head sticks around, a little hazy, I guess I shouldn't have squeezed the dry hop bag ;)
Taste is perfect, bitter but well balanced. It was a tiny bit harsh at first, i guess due to dry hop squeeze or my very hard water, but that has mellowed out nicely after a few months. Perfect abv for an everyday beer,I'm going to do this again with a more interesting yeast to add a bit more complexity... I'm thinking a fullers bottle culture.

Sounds like a treat man. Glad it turned out to be a beaut.

If you like your 4% beers, I have a cracking malt bill for you. Check out this brewday post: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=54113

This beer was amazing after 3 weeks. I mean - superb. Tasted like a 5%. If you want something darker, swap the caramalt for dark crystal. I'm going to do this with an all Brambling Cross beer soon. :-)
