Hi BMM
Did you go for a weaker version of the Exmoor beast ? I'm planning to have a go next week splitting into two FV and using TV3 yeast and Yorkshire 1 as comparisons

All,
Apologies for the late feedback on this, but its been in the bottle for several months now and although its a nice ported style beer, it lacks the fullness of ghost ale. I think more chocolate malt needed in the next brew.

Anybody get anywhere with a decent recipe on this one. I'm amazed the brewery wasn't more helpful, when I went on the tour earlier in the year they were very open with their quantities and ingredients (I just wasnt quick enough to write down remember them

). They even said I could take some of their yeast if I wanted and I would have done If I had not lived across the other side of the country!

Only two rules:
NEVER talk about Fight Club, and
NEVER turn down brewery-specific yeast
You say YES PLEASE and figure out how to squirrel it once you get out the gates...

I honestly would have done if I thought I would have been able to keep it alive long enough
