having searched some more the only info i have managed to dig up is that it is made of 100% pislner malt and german hops. getting to 9,55 is the easy bit but i have no idea as to the bitterness.

it is golden and rich, but also round with a lasting bitterness.

A little more info.
Ibu is 80! They say the beer is a belgian ipa. Surely at this strength and ibu uts a double ipa. No idea on hops. They say german so i am guessing saaz and northern brewer?

Isn't Saaz Czech? German would include Tettnag, Spalt, various forms of Hallertau etc, so any of those could be possibles as well. Regarding the IBU's, 80 may not be ridiculous, depending on the OG, which at 9.5% is likely to be high. Yeast could be the big unknown here I guess.

The only real choice here would be a high gravity trappist i guess. And about a kilo of candy ssyrup.
