Hello all.
After reading about an all munich recipe and having around 3kg kicking around in the shed i did the following.

Munich Cascade Ale
Munich Malt 3050 g
Pale Malt 500 g
Wheat Malt 100 g


Hop Variety Type Alpha Time lb: oz grams Ratio
Cascade Whole 5.7 % 85 mins 0 lbs. 0.4 oz 10 grams 7.4%
Cascade Whole 5.7 % 30 mins 0 lbs. 1.2 oz 35 grams 25.9%
Cascade Whole 5.7 % 10 mins 0 lbs. 1.2 oz 35 grams 25.9%
Cascade Whole 5.7 % 0 mins 0 lbs. 1.9 oz 55 grams 40.7%


Final Volume: 23 Litres
Original Gravity: 1.035
Final Gravity: 1.008
Alcohol Content: 3.5% ABV
Total Liquor: 32 Litres
Mash Liquor: 9.1 Litres
Mash Efficiency: 75 %
Bitterness: 32.8103352146088 EBU
Colour: 21 EBC
Used fullers yeast iirc.
I kegged it after a couple of weeks and put a bit of Galaxy dry hop in.
Turned out a real nice quafer.

Conditioning,Tally Ho,Spitfire
In the FV,Nowt
In the cube,Nowt
Coming up ,Old Spec Hen,Red IPA,Mega Hop Thing,Larkins Chidingstone,maybe a venture into Lager.

just made an all munich brew, early days yet but i think its a bit ott
no palate, no patience.

Some brwers do all munich alts.
