I have this recipe for a blonde...

How does it look? I have another 20g of the summer hop if its best to add them but I was kind of hoping to use them in a second batch.

Hi!

That does look good for anice easy drinking Summer/pale/Blonde!

I'd have thought it would turn out a bit darker than 8 EBC though - what colour calc are you using (is that a Beer engine recipe?)
I did a very similar grain bill for a 4% pale ale and it was in the 12-14 EBC sort of area...
But colour is a minor point....

Not used Sumemr hops - what are they like? :)

Cheers!

It is a beer engine recipe. I just redid it and the colour came out the same.

No idea what the summer hop tastes like as it was part of a swap with another Jim's member.

This I think is going to be my next brew.

Does anyone think I would be better off using my whole 40g of summer hops or will 20g be ok?
