The 4 C's

Post by jonnyt » Wed Jul 18, 2012 7:04 pm

I love my American hoppy brews so 6 months ago I stocked up on various hops.

Today I brewed something I've called Moon Landing based on Apollo and Amarillo hops
.
This leaves me with 100G each of
Cluster
Columbus
Chinnook
Cascade

I just love Cascade in both my own brews and commercial brews.

I know absolutely nothing about these hops, does anyone have any recipe suggestions for using some of each of these hops? Would they all go well together?

Hi Jonny, I love this brew. Recently did it with all lager malt. http://www.beoir.org/community/viewtopic.php?t=469
I'd say use the chinook and substitute cascade for Amarillo

A simple APA (1.045-1.050 OG, Pale, wheat and crystal malts) bittered with Cluster, aroma hopped with Chinook and Columbus and dry-hopped with Cascade? Heavenly.
