Would it taste terrible?

I don't imagine that it would taste terrible. It may not be as clean and crisp as a lager but it should still be drinkable.

I'm guessing it would taste like a very pale ale made with lager hops

I just inherited a water cooler bottle. Can hold about 18 litres.

I was thinking about making another brew to bottle for summer. A cheap geordie lager kit and some goldings hops. Im guessing reducing the water volume will make it a bit stronger. Nice for when everything else has ran out :)

Ok i just bought a Geordie Lager kit, beer enhancer, ale yeast and have some fuggles and goldings.

Lets see if a cheap geordie kit can make a nice pale ale? I'll be making it to about 18 litres so it will be nice and strong hopefully :)
