ENODIS Tap Spares

Post by Doingatun » Fri Jul 27, 2012 2:45 pm

Hi, HELP.......anybody know if there are any service kits or replacement o-rings available for the ENODIS SK130-021 flow control tap anywhere? [-o< .

Been struggling with o-rings on my two ENODIS SK130-021 bought of Norm August 2006 for a while now, worn out with use, stripping and cleaning etc, now one of the two has failed that fits on the flow control shaft.

I've asked before ages ago, also emailed Norm to see if he can get service kit or o-rings, without any luck, can't believe I'd have to buy new expensive taps for the sake of a few o-rings, I've bought a Celli tap service kit that looked very similar, none of the kit was any use  .

Cheers

If you have a size of internal diameter and a thickness of the o-ring you could work out the BS number and buy them online.

Thanks Highlander, can roughly measure 10mm ID x 2mm x section for 'o'ring I need on the flow control shaft, can't find food safe 'o'rings supplied in small quantities.

Thanks brilliant idea, found a fitting sadly the x setion is to large and won't fit the shaft groove.

Just a suggestion but you could try taking the fitting to a local engineering supplies shop and asking if they've got anything to fit the o-ring recess....

The corresponding o-ring might not be food grade but it will give you the correct size to look for and will probably cost you pennies (or even nowt but fuel and time if the guys in the shop are feeling generous).... Might even be the right item for the job you never know
