Chelmsford and Mid-Essex - new homebrew group

Hi this is just to let you know that there is a new homebrew group based in Chelmsford, Essex called "Chelmsford and Mid-Essex Homebrewers group".

The idea is to meet monthly on a midweek evening starting next Tuesday (15th May) at 7.30.

Would love to attend but the only way for me to get there would be to drive. Driving to a HB evening is not a good idea as I'm sure you will appreciate. Hope you have a great meeting.

Driving there would fine, it's driving back that might be dodgy I'll let you know if we get anyone joining from from near you just in case it could help with transport for future meetings

Most definately, we had meetings last Tuesday and Saturday studying microbes, using a digital tintometer to judge the colour of beer and experimenting with 15 different hop oils amongst other things as well as tasting a few beers.

Generally there will be one Tuesday evening meeting and one Saturday afternoon meeting per month. For the Tuesday meeting we meet at "The Ale House" near the station and get a lift to "Learn2brew".
