Glad you updated this one Floyd, I remember seeing it when you brewed it and then forgot all about it! A quick check of my store cupboard shows I have all the ingredients needed so I'll probably give it a go soon

Just one question - what's your water like down there? Ours is hard as nails which gives me a real problem with pale hoppy beers but nice dark ones like this seem to work out fine for me.

Excellent! Last time I did a test, it came back at 211.5. So... pretty hard.

I'm down to 8 litres now I'd love to brew more but I know I'll just make make myself sick of it if I do. Will hold off for a year and, in its place, brew another 7%+ hop bomb!

Please do a brewday post if you try the recipe. Mine now tastes of pungent fruit and citrus; a little like undiluted cordial but without the offensive harshness and screwed up face if that makes sense. I think you're going to love it!

I know this is an old post, but I like reading these old things and seeing who was posting stuff way before I joined JBK! You should try putting a torchlight behind your Beer to show its true glory.
