thats the bit I don't think 'the boss' would appreciate me telling you. The back of a Bottle of Blonde should be more than enough to have a fair stab at an easy drinking Saaz hopped beer :) :)

Uncle Joshua, for what it's worth, I keep updating my original recipe post as each new nugget comes to light. I really don't think you'll get more confirmation from a brewer than we've already gotten. Cheers!

I just happen to work and brew there, its not my recipe.... if it were my recipe I'd be more specific :)

Look out for a new beer, Red Ale hopped with Citra, Nelson Sauvin & Summer... thats one of my recipes. Rye Pale Ale is another, we brewed that last week.

I love most Saltaire beers, SHMBO bought me a few bottles and a new glass for my birthday last weekend.

I'm thinking of hopping at 20g - 20g - 35g.

Anyone know a yeast that will get close to the one the originally came from Thwaites Brewery? At the moment I'm thinking of going with Gervin English Ale yeast. I don't want the yeast choice to mess it up.

Thwaites yeast?

I've seen their Old Dan bottle conditioned, sporting sediment and on sale in Morrisons. Would that be what you're after?

I have never cultivated yeast so wouldn't have a clue how to do it...? I was thinking of a good dry yeast.

I dare say if you asked BrewLab for a Slant of Thwaites yeast they could do it.

My yeast is being posted out next week.

This will be my most expensive brew to date. I can't wait to get it started.

I'm about to start this, anyone got thoughts on my hop ratios?
