I'm using Safale S-04, I'm just going to rehydrate it in about 300mls of water
It'll be climbing out of the glass before you're finished 8)

Love SO4 :D

Finally settled for about 29l, last runnings were 1014.

Boil now under way, initial boil volume 25l, I was amazed at the increase in volume of the EKG's when added ! :o

Looks like you did well RTD.

In my first AG I forgot about the hop strainer (still do that now and again) and left the tap open on my fermentation bin when transferring the wort after the boil and lost over half of it onto the garage floor.

Just finished ! It's been a bit of a marathon & I'm rehydrating myself now with a bottle of Bitter & Twisted :)

You're not wrong, thought I'd make 23l in the FV with ease but I ended up sparging the hops with about 1.5l then topped up with water to about 23l (there's alot of foam on top). S.G. was 1.050, anyone now what this would make the efficiency ?

Anyway, the yeasties foamed up nicely & it's in the garage with the fish tank heater in it.

Hope to post some pictures tomorrow - too knackered tonight, I'll get my feet up & watch what's left of the match.

Thanks to all for the help both before & on the day, couldn't have got this far without you =D>

Very nice work. Top banana. You did everything right, which also means putting the wrong things right. When you come to drink it you'll enjoy that beer more than any other. 86% efficiency without going below 1010. Top stuff!
