Cheers, it's coming together slowly. I got my pots from a supplier in Germany who is mentioned all over the equipment section of the forum.

Here's a couple more photos, a float switch for my HLT to turn the elements off when I without doubt forget to turn them off myself when the hot liquor is being pumped to the Mash Tun.

and my Starrett 20mm TCT cutter for stainless. Very nice bit of kit.

Those elements look like a great shout, though may I ask? how come you've gone for 2 1.5's over a single 3kW? is it to spread the load or something?
I have a feeling that I'll be using one myself in the next build :D

They'll be indepently switched and driven by an stc1000 and timer etc - my plan is, fill the tank set the timer, switch both heaters to on and set the stc temp.

I get up and walk to the brewshed, HLT is up to temp and I switch off one of the heaters so just one comes on now and again to keep the temperature stable. 1.5kw switching on intermittently rather than 3 - just in, case. It only needs a kettle on in the house, coffee machine and dishwasher/washing machine to possibly trip something. I'm not an electrician so i don't know the full details, just playing wary. It also looks nice and if one packs up, there's the second one to fall back on.

re the Float Switch - goodluckbuy.com via eBay - I got two, no plans for the second one yet but good to have a backup or it may come in as a level sensor for filling the hlt somehow.

Nothing to do with the brewery build but some great news. The Chamber Of Trade & Craft has completed my dossier (it's only taken them 8 fahhging months) and I am officially registered as a craft brewery. My new SIRET (business number) is en route and as soon as I get the papers, I send a copy to the Douanes (Customs) - who have been waiting patiently (the Douanes were dead efficient and didn't mess about setting up my dossier for payment of excise duty) for the Chamber of Trade to get their act together - so they can complete my dossier and issue my Excise number. They also give me what's called Statut Entrepositaire (Warehousekeeper) which automatically includes the ability to sell (off sales only) beer from the premises.

Damn I need to finish this fecking build!

It's been on my mind for yonks to do this, I started early though as I know from painful experience how very slow it can be getting things done here. Then they're usually done wrong and have to be re-done. I gave myself 12 months and it's come together in 8 or 9 so not too bad for France. Lovely place, lovely people but they need a hefty kick up the arse lol.

What label?

Ahh gotcha, sorry I'm a bit brain fogged.

These are very much a work in progress, I haven't had a lot of time to tidy them up. There are a few others but these will give you an idea. They're A5 flyers but are based around the same design I have come up with for the labels, and website when I get around to doing some coding.

Another thing I like about the labels is the design is the same background so therefore if the Mrs was shopping the instructions would be easy - say :-

2 Bottles of 87 brown + 3 Bottles of 87 pink. (1 brand deferent styles /colour)

Although it is fun sometime to ask the Mrs to see if they have any Hogferret or Wolfsnipplechips in Tesco`s :)

My aim is that they stand out from the typical, brown paper, times new roman font artisanal labels.

The colouring was based around the top trending colours of this year, I want vibrant and BOOM "Here I AM, pick me up, have a read then buy me"

I also want to try to appeal to the younger crowd who are starting to check out the specialist bars in Limoges. Right now it's all about Belgian beers with them, they appear to steer away from much of the local craft stuff, I have my suspicions why.
