Electric Brewery Build UK Version
Re: Electric Brewery Build UK Version
These smooth surfaces benefit the grip by being roughened beforehand to give a key.

Re: Electric Brewery Build UK Version
Cheers for the suggestions, I`ve gone for the double side (thin foam) tape option and cleaned the stainless with nail varnish remover (as per TMH post) amd its stuck like "sh**" to a blanket. Just finished cutting the caps for the build....
The smaller 25 x 30mm conduit is alot more user friendly than the larger stuff.
Just need to fit the last few sensors and then might start wiring
but at least I`ll get to play with the label machine

Re: Electric Brewery Build UK Version
Just a quick question does anyone know where / if they manufacture the piggyback crimp connectors larger than 6.5mm, I`m looking for some 8mm ones?
EDIT:- Have now found some 8mm and 10mm one on ebay.
Cheers

Re: Electric Brewery Build UK Version
Just when you thought you had bought everything... I now find that I have one very small part missing from the build.
I`m using the XB2 BD25 switches for the build, they would normally be purchased as a single switch with two terminals on the backside 1&2 (zb2 BE102C) + 3&4 (zb2-BE101C).
I`m in need of a single 1&2 terminal ZB2 BE102C so does anyone have this as a spare they could sell on to me?
Cheers

Yep thats the one, do you have a spare?
They seem to have discontinued the Telem range, and as I wanted it to piggy back a NO terminal I wanted to ensure compatibility.

Re: Electric Brewery Build UK Version
Just another small update on my build, the new relays have now arrived, somewhat larger than the old ones but everything still fits in. I might however have to rethink the wiring of the pump power supplies to bring the Din Rail down abit?

Re: Electric Brewery Build UK Version
Another small modification, due to the size of the new relays, the space between the contacts and the conduit was rather tight.
So to aid future wiring I`ve moved the DIN rail down a little, which then moved the lower middle conduit down, which then in turn left two visible holes in the side conduit, so took the oportunity to replace all the conduit in the larger 60mm stuff.

My only concern at the moment is the amount of wires between the lid panel and the back panel, I have spiral wrap for the "hinge" but wonder if a few plastic pipe clips or somemore trunking mounted to the side of the box would be a good idea? or some sort of super connection plug?
Open to ideas...
